AWAY FROM THE OFFICE

Octavia was born in New Mexico and raised in Southern California before moving to Cleveland, Ohio. When she was 14 years old, she moved away from her parents’ home to attend high school in Darien, Connecticut. From there she went to the University of Virginia and then on to The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

After receiving her law degree in May 2009, Octavia relocated to Phoenix to be near her family. Before joining RCDM, she clerked for the Honorable Joseph B. Heilman and the Honorable A. Craig Blakey II, both of the Maricopa County Superior Court. Octavia is an active alumnus of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated.

Octavia is an active member of Palm Valley Church in Goodyear, Arizona. In her free time, she enjoys road trips, movies, reading and snuggling on the couch with her miniature dachshund, Tex.
