RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Successfully co-chaired a trial defending a
retailer of recreational vehicles that resulted in a defense verdict and the
recovery of attorneys’ fees while nullifying plaintiff’s claims for breach of
contract, rescission and consumer fraud.
Successfully defended architect against $50 million
breach of contract claims relating to the design of a $600 million public
project.
Obtained summary judgment and dismissal of an
action against a financial institution relating to claims for fraud,
misrepresentation and indemnification.
Successfully persuaded the court to issue a
permanent injunction enforcing the restrictive covenants in an Internet-based
company’s employment agreement against a former employee who was hired by a
competitor. The restrictive covenants included a nationwide covenant not to
compete, a non-solicitation clause and a confidentiality agreement.
Achieved partial summary judgment for medical
facility by persuading the Superior Court to dismiss plaintiffs'
multi-million-dollar punitive damages claim in a wrongful death action. |
