AWAY FROM THE OFFICE
Ron’s experiences during his “first” legal career
included two years as a prosecutor, followed by more than 20 years in private
practice. He initially was a general practitioner, litigating criminal defense,
personal injury and commercial disputes before focusing on road construction
failures as special counsel for Cochise County, Arizona. Retiring in 1990, he
spent most of the next ten years as an amateur carpenter, completing the
interior in a cabin in the woods near Prescott, Arizona, where he and his wife,
Rebecca, spend as much time as they can. After serving as a Judge Pro Tempore in
Scottsdale City Court and as a hearing officer for the Arizona Department of
Education, Ron joined Renaud Cook Drury Mesaros in 2000.
