Employment
Our attorneys
defend corporate employers in suits brought by employees and
former employees alleging violations of state and federal
employment and discrimination laws, breaches of employment
contracts, wrongful discharge, and ERISA preemption and
standing issues. Another significant portion of our employment
work deals with the enforcement by employers of the Trade
Secrets Act and of restrictive covenants, including covenants
not to compete. In addition to the litigation aspects of the
firm's employment practice, our employment work also includes
assisting clients in preparing appropriate employment policies
and procedures and advising clients on the day-to-day
implementation of such policies.
